The ‘How and When will I die’ app is a massive favorite with Facebook users. Facebook is HUGE. It has more than 300 million worldwide users. 50% of those users login EVERY DAY.
We are never going to get our application in front of even 1% of that audience ourselves and yet even with just 2300 users we can make at least $25 per week. As we grow it and get more users we will make more and more money from it but we will still never get it in front of everyone.
UPDATE: (15 November 2009) Two weeks after the results above and with no promotion by us at all, using just the viral features of the application it hit 6500 users with over 100 people adding it as a favorite app! It is now pulling in more than $50 per week and growing!
In other words, it is a massive market and there is room for lots of people promoting and using a similar application.
