I’ve deleted a lot of the older blog posts. I know it makes no sense from an SEO point of view but nothing annoys me more than searching google for something and getting posts that were written 3 years ago and are no longer relevant.
I’ve also taken down all the facebook apps that we used to sell as Netodex Solutions has sold the rights to all of these now and is no longer developing applications for facebook.
I am about to add some *REALLY* exciting new content to this site and its stuff you cannot get anywhere else, its unique and original to us.

I have just listed the following on ebay: Established Facebook App.
It is an established copy of my How and When will I die application which I originally only put up as a demo and it has grown virally to a reasonable level. If someone has the time and inclination to give it a push it will easily make more than it is now. I have based my sale price on 12 months at the lowest revenue and am open to sensible offers!
This is someones chance to get an app fully installed and established and already making money at a bargain price.
If you want a super-fast way to turn out monetized niche blogs then you need to check out Super Auto Blogger!

Other people are selling this for $57.
But you can get it free at http://im.thequickway.com – It’s a full series of manuals that cover social marketing, cpa, bum marketing and lots more besides.
This really is being sold for $57 on a few sites but it is 100% free from the above link.
I wanted to show three full months of the one application that I mentioned in my last post. Here are the screen captures from my Rockyou ads account. Remember these are for ONE application and it’s one of the cheaper ones I sell.
Remember – anyone can do this. A hosting account that can handle php and the ability to follow some fairly simple instructions and you are on your way. Not to mention that I also offer a low-cost installation option on these apps!

For the month of April one of the small apps that I sell for £25 made me over $200 in Rockyou ad revenue (I will post proof shortly).
That is just from ONE application and it isn’t even one of the big apps. And I’ve done zero promotion on it, that is all viral traffic. When these things take off – they take off. I’ve cleared $20 already in the first two days of this month from the same app.
I will put my prices up soon. Where else online can you buy something that can show a return that quickly?
Coming up with a truely viral app will significantly reduce the amount of time and money you have to put into promoting it. The big challenge is coming up with something thats really viral.
It never ceases to amaze me just what works and what doesn’t and the fact that there’s no guarantees. Quite often what works is very surprising indeed.
Just a few days ago we launched a slot machines application. I use the term “launched” very loosely because what I actually did was stick up a working demo, do a few wall posts and mentioned in in four or five groups (just wall posts in groups – the groups did not belong to me). I then left it because I wanted to get the new free application written, tested and launched.
So how do you think the slot machine app is performing considering its had virtually no promotion at all?
Take a look at this screen shot of the stats from facebook taken this evening…
A question I get asked frequently is “How can you monetize with Google Adsense ads in a Facebook application?”
Anyone who has tried will find it is not as easy as it sounds. This is because Facebook plays about with Javascript code as it serves your pages up. This is a security thing on their part, but it also means that a lot of standard Javascript does not function as you’d expect.
But there is a fairly easy work-around…
The depreciation of the Facebook template feed system has been extended to the 5th of January 2010 to give developers a little more time to update their apps to the new system.
Here is what Facebook said…
We are delaying the deprecation date to January 5, 2010 at 10AM PST.
We want to remind you that starting on that day, the only way to publish Feed stories into the stream will be via the stream publishing methods (stream.publish, FB.Connect.streamPublish, and Facebook.streamPublish). Posts published using the stream publishing methods contain only structured plain text data, which makes them easier to render on a variety of devices, including mobile phones and gaming consoles.
This means that we will discontinue support for the following:
- Template bundles. You should start using stream attachments with the stream publishing methods instead.
- feed.publishUserAction
- feed.publishTemplatizedAction
- Facebook.showFeedDialog and FB.Connect.showFeedDialog
- The FBFeedDialog class on Facebook Connect for iPhone. Please use FBStreamDialog instead.
- Publisher stories that use templates (please transition them to use stream attachments).
- Feed forms that reference the feedStory form and the multiFeedStory form.
- One-line stream stories.
We will still publish stories that call users.setStatus and status.set, but encourage all developers to migrate to the stream publishing methods, as they let you set a user’s status easily.
We would like to assure our customers that ALL the applications we sell already use the new feed publishing system and so you need do nothing – your apps will continue to work.
